Qatar Airways relaunches flights to Nigeria

Qatar Airways is set to relaunch its flights to Nigeria this week.

From September 10, the airline will run four return journeys between Doha and Lagos every week.

With the relaunch, Qatar Airways now operates flights between Qatar and 10 destinations in Africa, including Addis Ababa, Dar es Salaam and Djibouti.

Qatar Airways group chief executive HE Akbar al-Baker said, “We are delighted to resume flights to Lagos and further expand our network in Africa.

“We know the Nigerian diaspora is spread across the globe and we are thankful to the Nigerian Government for their support in helping us to reunite family and friends with their loved ones.”

The news comes after the airline relaunched flights to Somalia earlier this week. There are now three weekly flights between the two destinations.

Qatar Airways has also relaunched flights to Philadelphia,  London Gatwick, and Portugal
