Free wifi to launch on Doha Metro

Free wifi services are set to launch on the Doha Metro when it reopens tomorrow (Tuesday September 1), it has been announced.

You’ll be able to use the wifi network for free for 30 minutes every day, and can extend the service for a fee.

The metro is set to restart on September 1 as part of phase four of reopening across the city.

There will be a number of new safety measures in place, including temperature scanners and hand sanitisers at every station, as well as a 30 percent capacity on trains.

Phase four of reopening has been split into two sections, with the second beginning during the third week of September.
