Flights to resume between Qatar and India

Flights are set to resume between Qatar and India this week, it has been announced.

The two countries have established an ‘air bubble’ between the two countries that is set to run from August 18 until August 31.

During this time, Qatari nationals and Indian nationals with a valid Qatar visa will be able to fly back to Qatar.

Indian nationals stranded in Qatar, overseas citizens of India and Qatari nationals holding certain visas will be able to fly into India as well.

Full details about the air bubble were announced on the India in Qatar Twitter account.

Both Indian and Qatari carriers will be operating flights.

The news comes after Qatar Airways relaunched flights to Portugal and increased flights to Pakistan last week.

Residents who are stranded outside of the country can now apply to re-enter via the Qatar Portal website.
