Doha Metro will return on September 1 2020

 Much of Doha has been in lockdown for months, due to the impact of Covid-19.

But, as the government looks to the future, a four-phase plan has been put in place to gradually reopen public and commercial spaces and return the city to normal.

One thing that will many people will be looking forward to is the Doha Metro returning.

Public transport is due to start again with phase four of the plan, which begins on September 1.

Qatar Rail tweeted to confirm the plans.



We can't wait to get back to normal when things are safe, and look forward to riding the Metro once more.
