You can now fly directly to Sudan from Doha in under four hours

Direct flights to Sudan stopped a while ago now, meaning trips were taking between six and eight hours and needed a stop-off in Oman or Kuwait.

However, all that is about to change as direct flights are back up and running.

Sudanese airline Tarco is now operating flights from Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar to Khartoum International Airport in Khartoum, Sudan, meaning you can now reach the Sudanese capital in less than four hours.

It's the 13th international route for Tarco and the flights operate four times a week. You can book by visiting the website here.

Direct flights take around three hours and 25 minutes and a return ticket costs QR4,650.
