TV star and author David Walliams will be reading his stories to kids across Qatar

Best-selling children's book author and TV star, David Walliams, will be reading an audio story to children across Qatar every day for a month.

The World of David Walliams is releasing an audio story from Walliam's hilarious The World’s Worst Children book every day for the next 30 days.

Kids can listen to gross and gruesome stories about the most horrible children with the nastiest habits read by the comedian author himself every day at 2pm.

Walliams has penned an award-winning selection of books for children including Gangsta Granny, Ratburger and The Boy in The Dress.

In a social media post, the British comedian said: "Keep the kids busy with these daily audio treats, perfect for tea-and-biscuit breaks."

The feature started on Monday March 23 with The Terrible Triplets read by Walliams and impressionist Jon Culshaw.

Listening to The Worlds Worst Children will act as a nice taster for the kids as Walliams gets ready to release his latest book, Slime, on Thursday April 2.

Head to bit.ly/AudioElevenses every day at 2pm to listen in.
