Doha’s biggest rock festival is returning this year to offer fans an unmatched musical experience with the best and greatest homegrown talent.
The 4th edition of Rockaway Beach takes place this weekend on October 11 at the Oyster Bay & Bar, The St. Regis Doha.
Like its previous editions, this year’s eight-hour long festival is expected to attract over 1,600 live-music lovers.
Rock enthusiasts have a special treat in store for them with a line-up of the best nine expat bands in Doha, a bigger sound system and a better light show.
All bands are based in Doha, but one act in particular,Faraway Martin, has returned Ireland but will be performing live at this festival. Some of the other banks include Special Sox, Jack Daniel’s Trio, Wafty Krankers (Doha’s only punk bank), Under Construction, Fifty Degrees, Aleetheia, The Doha Band and The Exiles.
Besides the nine bands, a DJ, food stands and drinks from 5pm until midnight will also be available.
If you love live music as much as we do, this is the best occasion to celebrate and enjoy it, especially since it’s one of the only massive music festivals in Doha.
The audience can look forward to hearing original pop, ’90s, classic ’70s rock, punk, rock and roll, funk, power pop, heavy rock and many more genres.
