Qur'anic Botanic Garden launches home garden helpline for plant lovers in Doha

Like to think you’ve got green fingers, but your windowsill looks more like a graveyard for plants? Don’t worry, help is on the way.

The Qur'anic Botanic Garden (QBG) has launched a home garden helpline for you to ring with any questions you have about home gardening.

Whether you’re a seasoned horticulturist, or picking up gardening as a hobby for the first time, the QBG’s experts are there to help.You can call them directly on 3091 8519 every Monday between 9am and 12.30pm, and every Wednesday between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

Fatima Al-Khulaifi, director, QBG, said, “It is delightful to see the public’s positive responses and high interest in this service, since it was launched.

“The QBG ‘Home Garden Helpline’ service aims to support the Environmental Development pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030 and protect global ecosystems, by enabling the community to be active contributors to the sustainable development of the planet.

“Everything we do at QBG is about serving the country and the community.”
