The Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition returns

The 17th edition of the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) is all set to take place this month from February 24 and 29 and we wouldn’t be exaggerating if we say it’s going to be brilliant.

Taking place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), the exhibition will run for six days and feature more than 127 exhibitors from 14 countries.

More than 451 brands of watches and jewellery will be showcased and you’ll get a closer look at all the luxury products, latest brands and innovations under one roof.

The Young Qatari Designers Initiative returns to the exhibition this year with five new designers showcasing 16 jewellery brands in a special zone.

This year’s edition of the exhibition will include a Turkish pavilion that features 11 Turkish brands for the first time, in addition to the return of the Indian pavilion for the second year in a row with 28 brands featured.

DJWE is expected to showcase a number of exclusive pieces designed by famed global brands such as Tag Heuer and FPG, in addition to the participation of world-renowned diamond brand De Beers, which comes to Doha for the first time ahead of the opening of its first Qatari branch in Al Hazm Mall.

The Qatar Watch Club will participate this year and exhibit rare collectibles and limited edition pieces.

Objective Horlogerie group will organise various workshops, including a watch care workshop for the first time in the Middle East.

The exhibition will also provide consulting services by certified experts, gem specialists and other specialists who will give free appraisals to those looking to buy jewellery pieces at the exhibition, in addition to various educational and interactive activities.

Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor will be the face of a global dedicated campaign and the guide for visitors on their journey to beauty.

This year’s edition also witnesses the continued participation of some of Qatar’s premier jewellery patrons such as Al-Fardan Jewellery, Al-Majed Jewellery, Ali Bin Ali Jewellery and Watches Group, Amiri Jewellery, Fifty-One East, Al Muftah Jewellery and Blue Salon.

We’ll see you there, in our sparkliest outfits.
