We’ve run around the Aspire track a few dozen times and admired the artificial lake every single time. And since we already know how stunning the lake is, it can only look better at the lake festival happening tonight.
Aspire Zone Foundation’s third Lake Festival takes place at 7pm at Aspire Park with a show entitled Tree of Life.
Gates open for public at 5pm and close at 6.30pm, so you might want to get here early and find a parking spot. If you don’t want to go through the hassle of traffic and finding a spot, try the Doha Metro which has a stop close to Aspire Park.
The half-hour performance tonight will showcase a series of stories about peace, love, family and happiness, followed by magnificent fireworks that will light up the skies during the show finale.
Food and beverage stalls will be all around and there is free seating. This event is ticketed and prices start at QR30.
The tickets categorised into Gold and Silver are available for purchase at Aspire Park next to Burgeri, major restaurants in Katara and via online booking through the Q-Tickets website.
QR30 (silver), QR50 (gold). Jan 10, 5pm-onwards. Aspire Lake Stage, Aspire Park, Al Waab, www.aspirezone.qa.
