Experience an evening of silence at this Doha spa

Mandarin Oriental, Doha’s spa is dimming the lights with special treatments

Experience an evening of silence at this Doha spa

If it’s been a while since you’ve had some peace and quiet, especially amid the Doha hustle, it’s time to turn down the volume.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Doha is doing just that and offering a silent retreat on Wednesday December 11.

Silent Night is an annual offer available in Mandarin Oriental spas worldwide and on this day, you will get the normal treatment menu but starting 6pm, the lights will dim and silence will take over.

There will be no talk and no music to instil a sense of calm and allow you to experience complete mindfulness.

All communication will take place in a brief consultation at the beginning of the spa journey.

The Spa will feature A Silent Retreat Journey where you can choose to experience from a range of featured signature therapies such as Oriental Qi or Digital Wellness Escape.

Oriental Qi takes you on a personalised journey inspired by traditional Chinese medicine encompassing a holistic approach to wellness for the body, mind and spirit.

The ritual starts by determining your Chinese element based on the Orient’s ancient philosophy of balancing the five elements.

This signature therapy is designed to focus on pressure points of the meridians to balance energy in the body by using the benefits of elemental oils.

The Digital Wellness initiative provides guests with access to wellness advice and activities designed to help them disconnect from technology.

Digital Wellness Escape is the ideal treatment to provide a calming and peaceful respite from the outside world and the stress of repetitive movements.

This 80-minute experience focuses on the head, eyes, neck, shoulders, hands and feet to restore and ease strains resulting from the frequent use of digital devices.
