Qatar Museums has launched a new community initiative

Sign up for a programme to learn more about Qatar’s art and culture sector

If you’re looking for an opportunity to explore and engage in Qatar’s growing arts and culture sector, you’ll be happy to know Qatar Museums (QM) has just launched a new programme called iNTIMA.

The programme provides members of the community with a chance to delve deeper into QM’s various departments while nurturing their skills and learning more about the arts field in Qatar.

iNTIMA is an Arabic word that means a sense of belonging – a word that is appropriate to express a choice to belong to or be associated with a place of work, profession, sector or culture.

You will be introduced to the working environment within the arts and culture sector for a duration of either three, six or twelve months on the programme.

You can apply to a programme in your area of interest, as per the tailored experiences offered by the various QM departments.

This experience might be beneficial especially if you’re thinking of or currently pursuing this field. The programme will provide you with the skills required to begin a career in the cultural sector.

The launch of iNTIMA comes as part of QM’s commitment to inspiring the next generation of cultural leaders.

The programme is open to all members of the community. Interested applicants must be over 18 years of age with a minimum of a high school diploma, and an interest in arts and culture.

Upon successful completion, iNTIMA Associates will receive a certificate of completion that confirms the number of hours completed and experience gained within specific fields in the organisation.

Limited spots are available; so if you’re interested, submit your applications through the online form before December 15.
