Things to do in Doha: Celebrate Oman National Day

If you’ve got no plans today, it might be a good idea to celebrate Oman’s National Day.

Mall of Qatar has organised a dazzling entertainment programme today November 18 to commemorate the Sultanate’s 49th National Day.

Later this evening, the traditional Omani folklore Razha, practiced for hundreds of years, will take over the Oasis stage for three performances at 6.30pm, 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

Composed of 15 dancers, singers and musicians, the Omani troupe will enchant Mall of Qatar’s visitors and shoppers with their traditional instruments and joy, promising a taste of Oman at each show.

Additionally, if you’re around, you will be offered the Omani typical sweet (Halwa) throughout the day along with branded balloons.

It’s a chance to discover the country’s traditional folklore and hospitality, and maybe even get inspiration for your next weekend getaway.
Free. Nov 18, 6.30pm, 7.30pm, 8.30pm. Oasis Stage, Mall of Qatar,
