Four things to do in Doha with the family

Book hunt
So many children are glued to their electronic devices especially during car journeys these days. So, Cars in Doha came up with a simple solution that can make vehicle rides more fun and educational. The first-ever Cars in Doha Book Hunt which is essentially a treasure hunt for books that kids can read in the car has been launched. Dotted across Doha's multitude of parks are books hidden inside the playgrounds. Anyone can find the book, read it in the car on the way back home and simply put it back when they have finished.

New hangouts
There are two new entertainment areas in Mirqab Mall that are unlike anything we've seen before in the city. JUMP is an indoor trampoline park that also has foam pits where you can practice aerial tricks or simply enjoy the freedom of flying through the air and landing on a soft cushion (trust us, it’s fun). HANGOUT is an area for teens to, well, hang out, although the name hardly does the place justice.

Mini athletics
Doha Festival City has partnered with the Local Organising Committee of the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019 to host a World Athletics Championship competition for children. The event is currently taking place at a mini Khalifa Stadium in the Centre Court on the first floor at Doha Festival City.

Shopping
Doha Festival City has announced a number of new brands that have just joined its chain of stores and the good news is while the adults check out all these new stores, there’s lots of fun activities to keep the little ones occupied. Snow Dunes, Qatar’s first indoor snow park, has just opened and it’s the perfect weekend treat for the kids.
