Ahmed Ahmed is coming to town
Egyptian actor and comedian Ahmed Ahmed, who regularly performs at The Comedy Store in Hollywood, is going to make audiences roll with laughter in Doha on September 27 at The Great Room in W Doha. Grab your gang, book your tickets and get ready for a night of rib-tickling laughter.

Pool, beach and lunch deal
Beat the heat during the week at any of the two outdoor pools or the private beach at Sharq Village followed by a spectacular lunch buffet at Al Liwan restaurant.

First-ever LEGO Festival

Head over to DFC with the family to check out six different LEGO activities taking place across four different zones. From creative brick building to instructed challenges and physical activations for guests, there’s plenty to do. Located in the atrium node, ground floor, the activities include a photo booth, a silent disco where you can dance away and a creative station where you will be instructed how to create a LEGO heart. There’s a LEGO jungle and a Ninjago zone, too. The Lego activities are free of charge for shoppers. Registration desks are available in each activation area and open between 2pm and 10pm daily.

Chef’s table

Looking for something different to do on a Thursday? Thai chef Chanchai celebrates creativity and the art of cooking by whipping up some top Asian delights (which are unlimited) at Teatro. Head over here on the weekend to experience a theatrical culinary treat.

Free sailing sessions
The best way to beat the humidity this summer is to jump into a pool. Or head out for some aqua adventures. Luckily, Sora Marine is offering free sailing sessions for both adults and children. The free sailing sessions start on September 7 and 14 at 8am until 9.30am and 10am until 11.30am for children and from 1pm until 3pm for adults. Signing up as soon as possible might be a good idea as slots are limited.
