New exhibition reveals what traditional life was like in Qatar

Qatar museums (qm) recently brought UNESCO World Heritage Site Al Zubarah and the Al Ruwais police station back to life by launching a series of engaging and educational cultural activities. The Zubarah Cultural Fair offers participants a hands-on experience of traditional practices, while the Window to the Past exhibition at Ruwais showcases what traditional life was like in Qatar. A series of tents feature traditional craft exhibits and visitors can participate in several exciting workshops at these tents, enjoy camel rides and sample food and refreshments.
Free. Open daily 9am-5pm. Al Ruwais. Open Fri-Sat 10am-5pm. Al Zubarah, qm.org.qa.
