Baladna Cultural Festival kicks off
Baladna park’s culture festival kicks off on February 1 and it’s going to be a rich and delicious experience. The outdoor family-friendly festival is located at the Baladna Park on Shamaal Road, roughly about an hour’s drive up north, and we’re just as excited as you are to pack up all our winter gear and hit the road.

The event will feature loads of food varieties, dance shows, live entertainment, culture in different forms and handicrafts from Africa, South Korea, India, Jordan, Ireland, the USA and many more exciting cultures. There will be lots of kiosks featuring traditional Qatari products as well.

If you haven’t heard of Baladna Park, it’s one of Doha’s newest family attractions. It’s a mini escape from city life, one that leads to a lush getaway characterised by nature, diversity and lots of fun. This green wonderland on the outskirts on Doha is an ideal family destination. There’s plenty to see and try – visitors can participate in various fun and action-packed activities such as the zip line, obstacle courses, bumper boats, carnival games, trampolines, climbing walls, multi-seat biking, greenhouse planting, pony rides and much more.

There’s a wonderful zoo located inside the park where visitors can see and interact with animals such as zebras, monkeys, ponies, bunnies, reptiles, birds, llamas, camels and many more (just remember not to get too close to any of the animal cages).

Guests can walk around the entire park and stop at different locations, trying fun things like exploring the greenhouse, trying the adventure activities, playing with the animals or just relaxing at the beautiful majlis area.
