Tarek El Sherif is a freelance certified fitness instructor. Here he shares a few tips to encourage workouts and how to stay safe and healthy while exercising in hot weather. He says: “We should never stop exercising and always make it part of our lifestyle to stay healthy, strong and happy.”
1 Always stay hydrated before, during and after exercise
2 Spend extra time stretching before and after exercise to avoid cramps
3 Warming up is very important to inform the body it is about to exercise
4 Have a light meal 40 minutes before exercising
5 Have a protein-rich meal after your workout to stimulate muscle growth
6 Apply sunblock if you are going to exercise outdoors
7 Change your T-shirt after working out before entering any building with the air-conditioning on to avoid getting sick.
