Where to go shopping in Doha with visitors

21 High St
This new area in Katara is perfect all year round thanks to its outdoor cooling technology that makes even the hottest summer day feel chilly. There’s a massive Galeries Lafayette here for all your shopping needs and plenty of independent luxury retail stores. Stop by for dinner at Novikov or have coffee at Joe’s Café or Café Pouchkine.
Katara Cultural Village, West Bay Lagoon.

Al Hazm Mall
Get your camera ready because the photo ops are brilliant here. This gloriously beautiful mall is reminiscent of Italy’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II – one of the world’s oldest shopping centres in the country, housed in a 19th century double arcade in Milan.
Al Markhiya (4411 1444).

Doha Festival City
Doha Festival City is our number one recommendation for malls in Doha. There are dozens of amazing retail stores, plenty of dining options, Vox Cinemas and entertainment for the entire family. Even the parking is so perfectly structured, that it’s almost never a problem to find a good spot. Plus, Ikea is here and that’s reason enough to love this mall.
Umm Slal Mohammed (4035 4444).

Mall of Qatar
MOQ has a massive entertainment zone in the oasis, so taking your visitors here isn’t just about good shopping, it’s about the entire experience. The Ooredoo Stage here almost always has plenty of live acts, performances, entertainment and events happening and they’re always free.
Jahhaniya Interchange, Al Rayyan (4034 6000).

Souq Faleh
The best way to ensure your guests have a truly authentic experience is by showing them all parts of Doha – old and new, good and bad. Souq Faleh is one of Doha’s less developed, older shopping areas with plenty of tiny stores selling everything from electronics and perfumes to clothing and jewellery. You can find everything from stuffed toys to luggage.
Al Souq, Doha.

Villaggio Mall
It isn’t as popular as it used to be, but this Venice-themed mall is still a good destination for a full day of shopping, eating and family-style fun. Aspire Park is nearby and if you’re looking for a nice place to have afternoon tea, head straight to Tea Garden in The Torch Doha.
Al Waab (4422 7400).
