Time Out Says
Short and simple, it’s a selection of upscale bar bites like antipasti and cheese boards, though there are some casual bites like arancini and sliders, too.
Salads are pricey but, surprisingly, the lobster rolls offer value for money with meaty chunks of Omani lobster and a creamy sauce with waves of lemon on buttery brioche.
We also love the caprese flatbread. Crisp, thin, charred dough drizzled generously with pesto sauce and dollops of creamy buffalo mozzarella, it disappeares off our plate far faster than anything else.
The tuna ceviche is similarly impressive. It arrives in a huge pile with cucumber, avocado, thinly sliced red chili and lime. Flavours are perfectly balanced and the tuna is beautifully fresh.
Service can be a little haphazard at times, but that’s to be expected of a busy bar and really the only negative we can think of. If you can, bag a table outside. Inside is still loud and loungey, ideal for continuing the night post food, but outside is breezy and relaxed. Perfect for casual dining.
The bottom line
A varied menu of tasty, polished bar bites to match the new setting.
