Time Out Says
A Doha old-timer standby, this is a stable for many. Look past the weird decor (plastic plants and Christmas lights) and the massage parlour next door, and take in the fantastic pad Thai and amazing dumplings. It’s authentic street food with prices to match. You can sit in one of the several air-conditioned, glass-fronted rooms that make up the restaurant proper, or brave the heat in the outdoor garden area. Service can be a bit hectic, as they’re also doing a riotous takeaway business, but flag down a waiter and you’re golden. The menu features numbers and pictures, as well as descriptions, so ordering transcends language barriers. It’s an institution for a reason.
