Asian fusion restaurant with authentic flavours better than the average mall food court fare
Time Out Says
Thai Chi is located within a mall food court -- strike one. Its name represents the two cuisines it serves: Thai and Chinese. The fusion of two disparate culinary traditions is a definite strike two. Yet the concept works for a casual meal out. The restaurant is tastefully appointed, and the generous portions are tasty. The usual standards are all there: from dumplings and rice dishes stir-fries to crispy duck done two ways. The staff members are particularly diligent with offering a less spicy version of most dishes; opting for more kick certainly helps with keeping warm in the frigid temperatures of the dining area. Then once it starts to heat up, cool down with an exotic fruit juice mocktail. For those with a sweet tooth, leave room for the many fruit-themed Asian-style desserts, including a fusion date spring roll with chocolate fudge.
