Star Of India
basic Indian restaurant with no-frills Indian (and Chinese) food
Time Out Says
If this no-frills diner in the middle of a sandpit really is the star of India, we would strongly advise Mumbai’s eminent astronomers to invest in some new telescopes. Nevertheless, there are worse places in which to refuel. Separating the family room from the men’s dining area is a fairly extensive all-you-can-eat buffet, with various Indian and Chinese standards, and an a la carte selection of samosas, chicken jalfrezi and kulcha stuffed with potato and peas.
