This heavy hitter comes out swinging, armed with Vineet Bhatia at its helm, the only Indian chef in the world with two Michelin Stars. It’s modern Indian food, cutting out the oil and grease that for most people springs to mind when it comes to Indian, replacing these with stunning flavours and colours. Offering food from every region of India, come for the food but stay for the vast and astounding tea selection, each pot served with its own timer to help you steep to perfection. The menu is split by region, which can make it a small slog to get through, but plough through and the food is worth it. The butter chicken is so good we practically licked the plate, and even the rice is fragrant and delicious. They also offer a variety of naan breads (we like the one stuffed with cheese), as well as hearty vegetarian options. It’s truly in a league of its own.
