Canteen-style café offers tasty but unremarkable Indonesian food
Time Out Says
This dinky little canteen-style café serves up a tiny buffet of tasty but unremarkable Indonesian food. The main counter is warm and welcoming, but leads through to a plain, strip-lit main dining room, with one forlorn TV in the corner. Off to the side is a little room that holds the food. It’s not particularly attractively displayed, and by around 7pm the offerings tend to be cooling somewhat, but the fried fish is authentically spiced and tasty, and the goring dishes cheap and filling. An intriguing spot if you’re peckish and passing, but not one to divert for.
