Time Out Says

This tiny restaurant might be hard to find, tucked away deep in the bowels of Souq Waqif, but it’s worth the hunt to find it. It’s always packed, which should tell you something about the experience. The portions are huge and the prices reasonable, especially if you doggy-bag half your pasta home for lunch the next day. With traditionally Italian prepared fish, meat dishes and of course those pastas, there’s something here for everyone, and with its homey interior you feel like mama might really be preparing it for you. You’ll want to save room, though, as the dessert selection features fantastic gelato – don’t skip! Service can be a little iffy, but this place is best enjoyed in a leisurely way anyway.
