If the sound of sizzling braai gets you salivating, you need to head out to The Westin Doha for its South African foodie event.
The Westin Doha’s Hunters Room & Grill has put on a South African food fiesta, which takes place until Friday April 27 from 7pm to 11pm. It features mouthwatering delicacies for the country, making this a top choice for foodies, South African or otherwise.
The menu, designed by The Westin’s very own South African chef Bradley Mathias from Cape Town, showcases the country’s simple and delicious dishes, and the authentic techniques Mathias learned from his father.
There is a selection of signature dishes to try, including the rooster brood – a popular starter that has been passed down from generations, main courses such as the wood-fired South African tenderloin and the curried chicken dish bunny chow.
The selection of desserts includes the famed malva pudding, which is made with apricot jam, has a spongy, caramelised texture and is served with vanilla ice cream.
We’re expecting an exciting gastronomic experience at this foodie event. We’ll most likely be sitting on the table next to yours.
