We’ve all tried tacos, burritos and enchiladas. And for most of us, that’s Mexican food in its entirety. Except, it’s not. The adorable Chef Ana Martorell has come down to Doha to curate an epic Mexican menu for a whole week and we are excited. Flavours of Mexico at The St. Regis is created in collaboration with the Mexican Embassy and Qatar Airways.
There’s a set menu featuring four courses of Chef Martorell’s culinary creations. Start with the most authentic version of Caesar salad (yes, Caesar salad is Mexican), followed by noodles Tlayacapan style with the lamb shank filled tortilla inflata for main course. The meat is fall-off-the-bone tender, we assure you. To finish, guests will be treated to a mouth-watering molten chocolate delicacy cooked in a pure clay pot.
In addition to the set menu available at Astor Grill, The St. Regis Grand Brunch taking place on Friday, November 3 will showcase Mexican influenced dishes also prepared by Chef Martorell such as mushroom quesadillas, stuffed corn dough pastries, green enchiladas, enfrijoladas rosarito amongst others.
