Time Out Says

Prepare yourself for opulent scenes before arriving at the Lebanese fine dining restaurant at the Marriott Marquis hotel in Doha.

The dining room has more in common with an 18th century French palace than anything we've seen on a street food tour of Lebanon. Elaborate chandeliers and candelabra, floral print chairs and furniture and ornate wall art abound. It’s thoroughly romantic, if that’s your kind of thing, perhaps a little over the top for certain tastes. Contemporary European chic it is not. A violinist plays a welcoming note and further lifts the atmosphere in the room another notch.

But don't let it all distract you from the award-nominated food.Familiar hot and cold mezze are all present as are the selection of grilled meats and rice dishes so popular in Levantine restaurants.
