Time Out Says
The name means Dining Room and that is the very clear intention for a Levantine restaurant which blends traditional recipes from across Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan and a particular tribute to Syria.
Prices, naturally for a top restaurant in a luxury hotel, are at the premium end of the market. But this is not a pile-it-high mixed grill joint, but a stylish restaurant with attractively modern decor and imaginative presentation.
At the last count we spotted more than 30 types of mezze, including shrimp mutaffa and an intriguing Palestinian pie (marinated with zataar and spinach) and many favourite Arabic desserts. Giant kunafa Nabulsia to share anyone?
