The interior suggests a Mediterranean menu, but it’s actually more varied
Time Out Says
La Brasserie’s interior suggests it should be a Mediterranean eatery, yet the menu is more varied: the delicacies section suggests French involvement, but assorted mezze, shrimp cocktail, lasagne, omelette, curry, fish and steak are just some of the other available dishes. La Brasserie threatens to show character with the terra cotta tiles and tablecloths, maroon drapes and pictures of old chocolate and cigar adverts, but judging by the haphazard menu, although there’s nothing wrong with the taste, they should do what Frankie suggests and ‘relax’.
