Al Hamra

This Lebanese favourite has some of the best lentil soup we’ve ever had

Time Out Says

This Lebanese favourite has some of the best lentil soup we’ve ever had. Relaxed and authentic, they cater to families, who pack the dining room regularly. They offer up solid Lebanese dishes alongside good kebabs and a smattering of other national cuisines – we’ve spotted Indian and even the occasional Chinese-influenced dish, plus that Western staple, French fries. With traditional decor and seating for around 200, Al Hamra is popular with big groups for a reason. The service is ok – not stunning, but not so bad we’re storming out the door.
