The St. Regis Doha, West Bay Lagoon (4446 0105).
If you’re looking for a warm, romantic steakhouse tucked away in a quiet corner of the hotel, try Bentley’s Grill at Radisson Blu Hotel, Doha. The menu is thankfully simple to navigate, spanning only four pages. The starters are wide-ranging and also offer several vegetarian and seafood options. Bentley’s speciality is its wide selection of steaks competing for your attention from fillet mignons and rib eyes to tenderloins and tomahawks. Along with Australian wagyu, you can also opt for the prime grade US Angus beef. Finish off with the snake coffee – it’s quite a show.

This celebrity chef-owned chain is now more a family-style sharing dinner dining venue than a steakhouse but you can still expect some great meat cuts. Try the perfectly seasoned USDA prime New York sirloin with a béarnaise sauce made in house.
Mondrian Doha (4045 5485).
The name means "fire" in Spanish and Fuego in JW Doha is a restaurant which aims to capture the heat and passion of Argentina. Expect plenty of authentic South American dishes ranging from empanada sharing platters, tamales and of course steaks.

Expect brilliant steaks (we’re looking at you wagyu rump), excellent burgers and decadent desserts at this oasis of calm, hidden away on the mezzanine of The Westin Doha. If you want to treat a fellow carnivore friend to a high-quality dinner free of pretentiousness, this is just the place to do it.

New York Steakhouse
The cuts of Australian Black Angus, Australian Wagyu, USA Prime and Argentine beef at New York Steakhouse are judiciously seasoned. Standout sides include lobster mac ‘n’ cheese and maple-roasted carrots. The decor is that of a classy American steakhouse and comes with the five star flourishes that brings. Dark tones and leather chairs dictate the decor and an open kitchen adds to the drama.

We’d take any excuse to dine at a celebrity-owned restaurant but even if we remove the world-famous Salt Bae from the equation, the steaks at Nusr-Et are reason enough to keep coming back. It might cost you an entire month’s grocery, so it’s best suited to special occasions. But whether you in Doha or are just visiting, it’s a must-have experience.
Sheraton Grand Doha Resort and Convention Hotel, West Bay (3316 3470).
Prime is the place for steak-lovers. The menu offers many options, from Kobe to wagyu, in a variety of cuts. If you’re looking for a sophisticated dining room with some of Doha’s meatiest morsels.
InterContinental Doha The City (4015 8888).
Originally from New York City, STK offers a contemporary and upscale twist on classic steak dishes. The décor is modern and chic and the menu features various cuts of beef, including fillets, tenderloin, rib-eye, T-bone and tomahawk.
The Ritz-Carlton Doha (4484 8588).
This Tawar Mall spot has typical steakhouse style interiors – dimly lit, a blend of brick and leather and very masculine steel chains. Interestingly, the menu has lots more to offer than just the items on sale. You get to see the calories in every cut based on the weight, where the meat comes from and even a diagram of the various meat cuts where each one is explained. The steaks are stupendous and the service is superior. We wouldn’t think twice before going back.
Tawar Mall (4451 6683).
Toro Toro is a creative blend of pan Latin styles and flavours, one of the most successful and growing food concepts in the world. The restaurant showcases genuine recipes from Brazil to Peru but the steak is the highlight. Try the all-you-can-eat meal deal offering unlimited quantities of nine different cuts.
