Five things that chef Stavros Chatziantoniou from IZU Doha is doing during lockdown

In a new regular series, we're asking the movers and shakers from the Doha F&B and hospitality industry to find out what five things are keeping them going during the lockdown.

First up is chef Stavros Chatziantoniou from IZU at Mandarin Oriental, Doha.

Three things you’re enjoying doing at home right now

• Cooking. The first thing I do as soon as I open my eyes is to go into my kitchen, prepare a coffee and then plan my meals for the day.

• Reading books

• Relaxing on the sofa and watching movies on Netflix

Your favourite place to order home delivery from

I don’t usually order food takeaway, I prefer to cook it myself. But If I would like to order, it would be food that I am not able to make at home or something I'm not very experienced with such as sushi and sashimi or Japanese cuisine in general.

The first thing you’re looking forward to doing in Doha when this is all over

What I really miss is the sun. So, I believe I will probably enjoy the sea after this situation comes to an end.
