The popular brunch at Choices features 100 dishes on Friday January 31, you’ll get to try plenty of favourites dedicated to the special Chinese New Year theme. There will be plenty of favourites, live cooking stations, drink stations and kids’ zones, along with live music from the resident band.

Hakkasan Doha is celebrating Chinese New Year with an exclusive menu and a range of special dishes designed to reflect good health and fortune for 2020.
The theme will be red, as the colour represents luck in Chinese tradition. Hakkasan will have red wishing ribbons for you to write down your wishes for 2020. The traditional lucky knot which symbolises good luck and a prosperous life will also be highlighted on the red wishing ribbons. Standout dishes from the menu include the golden treasure pockets filled with abalone and wild mushrooms, crafted to resemble a money bag to reflect wealth, and the diver scallops with taro mousseline and brown butter black bean sauce.

Embrace good luck with a meal meant to bring happiness, good health and prosperity at Shanghai Club. Executive chef Kim Kar Ooi who specialises in Cantonese cuisine will prepare a four-course menu. The meal starts with traditional yu sheng, a mixture of refreshing flavours and colours combined with thinly-sliced salmon, pan-fried chilli crab and shrimp bun and a seafood money bag pumpkin soup. This is followed by the main dishes that include roasted chicken with spicy vinaigrette sauce, crispy tiger prawns, sha cha scallops and eight treasure fried rice. Then wind up your celebratory dinner with a wolfberry honey jelly dessert.

This spot has just launched its popular Asian Nights and on January 22, there’s an extra special Chinese New Year theme. You’ll get to try bold flavours and plenty of favourites including Chinese Peking duck, Korean bibimbap, Vietnamese pho, Indonesian nasi goring and Japanese wagyu teriyaki. There’s a selection of sushi, too.
