Set aside your run-of-the-mill cup of cappuccino and try some of these exciting latte flavours. With winter just around the corner, the timing is perfect.

Black is back and charcoal lattes are an exciting trend. Cue serves one of the best in Doha and bonus points for being Instagrammable. You can have it hot or cold, but we recommend a warm cup with almond milk and a slice of delicious, flourless chocolate cake.

If there’s one latte that takes the trophy, it’s this incredibly delicious coconut latte. It’s almost like Rafaello in a cup, but warmer and more comforting. And it lasts longer, too. There are sweet coconut flakes on the rim of the cup and if you take your coffee without sugar, these flakes perfectly balance the bitterness. We can’t stress this enough – you absolutely need to try it to believe it.

Matcha tea is passé and matcha lattes are taking over. For a boost of energy without excessive caffeine, order this hot beverage at Fleurs et Café. Plus, you’ll be surrounded by beautiful flowers and fresh scents at this florist and café.

How does a hot rose latte on a chilly winter evening sound? It’s not that cold yet, but the flavor still works for us. The sweetness is expected, but what will probably surprise you is the beauty of this coffee. It’s pink and comes with beautiful rose petals on the top. Don’t forget to check out the latest KAWS exhibition, too, while you’re around.

If you love saffron, then this Ambar latte is a real game changer. It is creamy and smooth and is highlighted with a very subtle flavour and aroma from the saffron. There’s great coffee and delicious snacks in a cosy setting, what’s not to love?

Toffee nut
The wait for seasonal goodness is over and the toffee nut lattes are back at Starbucks. Starbucks’ smooth espresso with velvety steamed milk is topped with whipped cream and toffee nut sprinkles in the famous festive cups.
