Check out this brand-new alfresco spot at Mandarin Oriental, Doha

The weather is near fantastic and we’re constantly on the hunt for new alfresco spots to check out. Situated adjacent to Mosaic in Mandarin Oriental, Doha, Aqua is the latest outdoor venue in the city and it’s pretty stunning.

The atmosphere is laid-back and the views are breathtaking. You’ll love the signature mixed beverages, iced teas, juices and lemonades, all created from fresh and natural ingredients bursting with refreshing flavours in a lively, relaxing setting while basking in the autumn breeze and sounds of live entertainment.

Aqua is an oasis in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha, trendy with modern semi-private seating, surrounded by greenery and ambient lighting.

Expect an incredible alfresco dining experience with a menu specialising in delectable, sharing dishes such as Arabic mezze and tapas, topped off with a selection of tempting desserts and sweets.

There’s a delightful selection of sushi, sashimi and ceviche and a range of salads including a Thai beef salad which we love. The Arabic and Turkish bites are winning – you’ll love the pides (burrata and rocket, roasted lamb and heirloom tomato and truffle are some of the options). And if you’re still a little curious, there’s mango sticky rice in the dessert menu.

For an intimate gathering with friends or even a business dinner in a casual, outdoor spot, we can’t think of a better place than Aqua in Mandarin Oriental, Doha.
Open Sat-Wed 6.30pm-1am, Thu, Fri 6.30pm-2am. Mandarin Oriental, Doha, Msheireb Downtown Doha (4008 8888).
