Things to do in Doha: Try the new afternoon tea at IDAM

Sip a cup of hot tea, soak in stellar sunset views and enjoy Doha’s brilliant breeze. If this sounds like an ideal afternoon to you, head over to IDAM by Alain Ducasse.

The stylish outdoor terrace has opened with a new culinary offering – La Patisserie d’IDAM.

With the weather at its best this month, it’s the perfect time to grab your friends and catch up.

You can indulge in a selection of desserts and refreshments at this sophisticated spot designed by famed French designer Phillipe Starck.

For QR120, two people can enjoy a selection of teas and coffees, a dessert each, some fresh pastries, juices and still or sparkling water.

If you’re a Culture Pass Plus member, you’ll get 20 percent discount, too.

You’ll not just get a fantastic deal on an afternoon tea, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a Michelin-star celebrity chef-owned restaurant right here in Doha.

The restaurant’s terrace will also be open for lunch, dinner and is available for private and corporate events.

The views are unbeatable – unlike anything you’ll get to see in Doha, so you don’t want to miss this.

La patisserie d’IDAM is available from Saturday to Thursday, 3.30pm to 5.30pm. We’ll be going soon for taste of IDAM’s signature desserts.
QR120 (for two people). Sat-Thu 3.30pm-5.30pm. Museum of Islamic Art, Corniche (4422 4488).
