This has to be the biggest and best news for coffee lovers in Doha – The Coffee Club, an all-day-dining chain, opened its first outlet in Doha Festival City. One of Australia’s largest home-grown café, The Coffee Club was first established in Brisbane in 1989 and ultimately opened 450 stores in over nine countries. This casual eatery is a relaxed spot, perfect for catch ups with pals or even a quick solo meal. With its good food, great service and truly excellent coffee, The Coffee Club is ideal for groups of friends or families.

Interestingly, every city has several standard items and then a couple of dishes based on the local cuisine. The all-day menu features several breakfast dishes, appetisers, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, main courses, desserts and a wide selection of coffees, teas and frappés. Besides having incredibly good coffee (we assure you of this), the range of cold coffees is rather unique and interesting. The popular melloccino is on the menu, too.

The ultimate idea behind the menu is to cater to everyone’s needs – whether you crave for main course at 8am or decide it’s time for breakfast at 10pm. The Coffee Club will always keep its loyal patrons entertained as the menu selection changes regularly with new chef’s creations. There’s a tasty selection of shaken iced teas like passionfruit and raspberry as well as wellness teas such as peppermint, chamomile, jasmine green and some ginger honey.

Enough about beverages. Moving on to the food menu, you’ll find international delicacies like Thai green curry and a margherita tortilla.

There is good news is for vegetarians. Not only does it have plenty of meat-free dishes, every dish is meticulously prepared with the freshest of ingredients. Some of the items include mushroom chilli tortilla, halloumi cheese sandwiches and a whole rage of sandwiches. There are a few local specialties, too, like Arabian scrambled eggs.
Open Sat-Wed 8am-11pm; Thu-Fri 8am-midnight. Ground floor, West Court 2, Doha Festival City, Umm Slal Mohammed (4486 8749).
