Expect to see the Irish folk, in a whole lot of green, out in force on March 17 in order to celebrate one of their favourite holidays – St Patrick’s Day. This is our top pick of where you can go in Doha to have fun like you’re right in the heart of Dublin’s fair city.

A long, long time ago back in the early seventeenth century, an official feast day in Ireland was called in honour of St Patrick. Fast forward hundreds of years later and now March 17 is recognised as a big celebration all over the world for the Irish (and lovers of the Irish) to mark the day with dancing, parades, parties and lots and lots of the colour green. No stone has been left unturned, no country left ignored, as many venues in Doha have jumped on board to commemorate the day with live music and plenty of festivities.

March 13-17
