Qatar has reimposed a number of restrictions in order to prevent a second wave and the spread of a new coronavirus strain in the country.
Coming into effect from Thursday February 4, the four-tier plan involves restrictions in a number of areas including at malls, in parks and in salons.
Malls will be able to operate at 50 percent capacity, but food courts will be closed with outlets only serving food to take away. Traditional markets will also have a capacity of 50 percent, while wholesale markets can operate at 30 percent capacity.
Playgrounds and exercise equipment in public parks and on beaches will be shut, as will indoor amusement parks, swimming pools and water parks.
Museums and public libraries will also have their capacity reduced to 50 percent.
Tourist boat rentals have been suspended, and only 15 people will be allowed on personal boats.

Salons and barber shops will operate at 30 percent capacity, and saunas, hot tubs and Turkish baths will be closed.
Nurseries and other childcare facilities will have their capacity reduced to 30 percent, while blended learning will continue as it currently operates.
Restaurant capacity will be reduced to 50 percent for outdoor diners, and 15 percent for indoor dining. This can be increased to 30 percent for restaurants that joined the Qatar Clean programme.
Finally, all weddings are being postponed unless they are being held at home or in the majlis. The capacity will be a maximum of ten people indoors, and 20 outdoors.
Wedding restrictions will come into effect from Sunday February 7.
No end date has been announced for the new restrictions.
