Boats in Qatar can now operate with 30 percent capacity

Boats in Qatar can now operate with 30 percent capacity, the Ministry of Interior (MOI) has announced.

Sharing the news on Twitter, the MoI clarified which boats are allowed to operate with reduced capacity.

These include personal boats, rental boats, yachts, daily cruising boats, jet boats, and personal dhows.

Water scooters are also allowed to operate, but with only one person on board.

Boats are allowed to operate again as part of phase four of lockdown reopening across Qatar.

This phase has been split into two, with the second part beginning in the third week of September.

As of September 1, cinemas and theatres can reopen with a maximum capacity of 15 percent.

Children are now allowed into malls once again, museums and public libraries can operate at full capacity, and home cleaning services can resume.
