Keep those telescopes ready, you're going to need it tomorrow night.
There's an exciting phenomenon on Monday March 9 and we can’t wait to see Qatar’s skies light up.
Qatar Calendar House has announced the occurrence of a Supermoon tomorrow night.
A Supermoon occurs when the moon's orbit is closest to Earth at the same time the moon is full.
Monday's full moon will be bigger and brighter than usual.
QCH astronomy expert Dr Beshir Marzouk states the moon will be approximately 354,000 km away from the Earth’s centre and will appear 14 percent bigger than a normal full moon.
Its illumination will be 30 percent brighter than the normal full moon, too.
The next Supermoon is predicted for April 8.
If you didn’t have a good reason to go out, now you do.
