Doha Metro is increasing ticket prices

We’ve grown to love Doha Metro and we’re almost getting used to leaving our cars at home. Qatar Rail has just announced an increase in ticket prices for limited-use paper tickets on all the lines operating on Doha Metro effective Friday February 21.

Here are the new prices:

Single journey tickets for Standard Class will be priced at QR3 instead of the current price of QR2.

Standard Class Day Pass will now cost you QR9 instead of the current QR6.

Gold Pass tickets will cost QR15 instead of QR10.

And if you’re taking a day pass on the Gold Class, you will have to pay QR45 instead of the previous QR30.

Reusable travel cards are still the same.
