Does it frustrate you that your kids are always on their iPads and tablets, especially in the car? Then this is exactly what you need.
Inspired by the fact that so many children are glued to their electronic devices especially during car journeys, Cars in Doha came up with a simple solution that can make vehicle rides more fun and educational.
Yesterday, Cars in Doha launched the first-ever Cars in Doha Book Hunt which is essentially a treasure hunt for books that kids can read in the car.
Dotted across Doha's multitude of parks are books hidden inside the playgrounds. Anyone can find the book, read it in the car on the way back home and simply put it back when they have finished.
“We at Cars in Doha want to encourage reading in the car, especially when stuck in traffic, so by gifting these books to the children of Qatar to read and enjoy, we can encourage this activity in a new and exciting way.”
If you or your kids find a book, be a part of the online community and post a picture with the book while reading/finding it and hashtag #Ride&Read and #CarsInDoha.
Head over to a playground near you today and see what you find among hundreds of books available to take home and enjoy.
