New route from Doha to Portugal capital Lisbon launched

As part of its rapid network expansion plans, the airline has just added the incredible city of Lisbon in Portugal to its list of ever-increasing destinations.

Qatar Airways’ first ever passenger flight to Portugal landed at Lisbon Airport today.

The new daily direct services to Lisbon will be operated by the airline’s state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with 22 seats in business class and 232 seats in economy.

Qatar Airways passengers travelling business can relax in one of the most comfortable, fully flat beds in the sky as well as enjoy five-star food and beverage service.

You can also take advantage of the airline’s award-winning in-flight entertainment system, Oryx One, offering up to 4,000 options.

This new route is great for those travelling from Lisbon to destinations across Africa, Asia and Australia such as Maputo, Hong Kong, Bali, Maldives, Bangkok, Sydney and many more.

Lisbon is the fourth new destination to be introduced by Qatar Airways this summer following the launch of flights to Izmir, Turkey and Rabat, Morocco very recently last month.

The airline also launched Malta at the beginning of June and Davao, Philippines in mid-June. Mogadishu, Somalia and Langkawi, Malaysia are on the list.
