And Monoprix has beat everyone else to it. Retail might be one of the trickier industries to master but for the first time in the region, Monoprix will launch one of the most advanced retail software solutions for enhanced customer service in the iconic Msheireb Downtown Doha.
In addition to this, the store will also provide its famous Concierge and the Shop & Go concepts, making the shopping experience for residents and visitors of MDD more convenient and comfortable.
Founded in 1932, Monoprix is a renowned French brand offering the best of food retailing along with clothing, household items, perfumes, gift items and more.
The French retail chain currently has two other stores in Qatar – West Bay and Doha Festival City. The newest location will be at the soon-to-open Galleria Mall in Msheireb Downtown Doha.
A signing ceremony recently took place between Msheireb Properties, the developer of Msheireb Downtown Doha (MDD), and Ali Bin Ali Holding, one of the largest conglomerates in Qatar and the owner of the Monoprix franchise in the country.
Monoprix Msheireb will offer an extensive organic range of 12,000 items sourced internationally as well as a new dine-in Qatari-food concept, sushi bar and pasta and pizza corner.
The hypermarket will continue to support local initiatives and stock all local Qatari made products.
