VOX Cinemas reopens at Doha Festival City

VOX Cinemas has reopened as part of Qatar’s phase four reopening

Cinemagoers can now head to Doha Festival City to watch films on the silver screen for the first time since March.

A number of precautionary measures have been introduced in order to stop the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Qatar.

The cinema’s capacity has been reduced to 15 percent, and only film fans over the age of 18 will be able to attend screenings.

All staff will be temperature checked on arrival, and employees will have to wear masks and gloves throughout their shift.

Safe distancing stickers have also been introduced, and you can book your ticket online or use contactless payment.

Cameron Mitchell, CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Cinemas and Majid Al Futtaim Leisure & Entertainment said, “We are very excited about reopening our doors at Doha Festival City and having the opportunity to reconnect again with our valued guests.

“Cinemagoers can rest assured that we are exceeding recommended guidelines so that that they can enjoy an exhilarating big-screen experience with comfort and peace of mind.”
