Movie nights galore for families

If like us you are snuggling up on the sofa most evenings to enjoy a family movie night (complete with arguments about what to watch, of course), then you may be worried about running out of things to watch.

These brand-new TV series and films are available on OSN this month, and might be worth adding to your watch list.

From quirky TV series you can binge watch to classic Disney favourites like Kung Fu Panda, there’s something to keep everyone from the littlest viewers to mums and dads glued to their seats.

Mini viewers can watch episodes of Tall Tales to the screen on Sunday May 31 in which Apollo, a kind-hearted travelling performer and clever cricket lands in the village of the Funny Little Bugs, before the whole kingdom is disrupted.

From Friday May 29 until Saturday June 13, everyone’s favourite funny yellow sponge is getting his own pop up channel on Nickelodeon. Over the 16 days, SpongeBob and his fish friends will appear in 141 episodes over 12 seasons, which totals 70 hours of quirky salt water viewing.

Between Friday May 22 and Monday May 25 you can watch teams of kids try to navigate a series of booby-trapped rooms in Legends of the Hidden Temple, hide behind a cushion watching The Boy Who Cried Werewolf and find out how Xander solves a mysterious case to find his dad when he goes missing in Bixler High Private Eye.

Bu there’s more. On Saturday May 30 and Sunday May 31, Nicktoons is focusing on all things villainous. The two-day villain extravaganza will show episodes from The Fairly Odd Parents, Kung Fu Panda, The Penguins of Madagascar and ‘SpongeBob SquarePants.

Looking for more fun things to watch and do with the kiddos? Try these seven.

So, grab the gang, turn down the lights and pass the popcorn.
