Doha's Ajyal Film Festival calls for jurors

If your kids are glued to the silver screen, we might just have the perfect activity for them.

The Ajyal Film Festival is coming back for its eighth edition this November - and the organisers are on the hunt for jurors.

Jurors, aged between eight and 25, will watch films from across the globe, meet film directors and actors, attend online workshops on film-making and choose the Ajyal competition winners.

Age appropriate activities are films will be chosen for the jurors, who will be split into three age brackets - eight to 12, 13 to 17, and 18 to 25.

The juror programme will run between November 11 and November 23, with many of the activities taking place online.

Registration costs QR50, and if you are selected you will need to pay a further QR250, with the costs going towards hosting workshops.
